I was interested to see the article on Thomas Munro and the plaque in the church. I noticed it a couple of years ago when I visited the church on holiday. Quite stirring as a Kiwi to find one of our own commemorated in such a lovely place so far from home. You are doing a great job on your website and I enjoyed reading the Parish news being a Parishioner of All Saints Church, Taradale, Napier. Our present vicar Steve Hayes is on a 3 year visit to our Parish from Churchill in Oxfordshire.
I was visiting old friends George and Margaret Long, in Wissett when on my early morning wanderings along the lanes I found Chediston.
Regards from all in Taradale Parish
