The local proclamation of the new sovereign will take place in Halesworth at the Arboretum by the War Memorial at 3.30pm on Sunday 11th September. It will be a short civic ceremony, following the County proclamation in Ipswich at 1pm. Members of the public are encouraged to attend this historic moment and mark the beginning of the reign of the new King.
There will be times over the weekend when the flag in the Town Park will be raised and lowered to follow protocol.
