Chediston Church tenor bell will be tolled half muffled for one hour at noon today, 9th September, along with bells across the nation.

Ringing for the next ten days will be half muffled for mourning, ringing in the Queen's memory and on the date of her funeral.

Ringing will be open (bells will not be muffled) on the day that His Majesty King Charles III officially acceeds the throne.

An online Book of Condolence is available at www.suffolk.gov.uk/condolences.

A Book of Condolence is also available in Chediston Church to allow residents to pay their respects and one is also being provided at East Suffolk House, Melton; Riverside Offices, Lowestoft, and Marina Customer Services Centre, Lowestoft, to allow local people to pay their respects.
