Update to location of foodbank collection box:
Many will be aware that the Halesworth Foodbank is desperately in need of supplies at this difficult time. We have been asked to introduce a collecting box in Chediston to try and help. We are prepared to host the collecting box outside our house at Whitwick in the centre of the village. The box will be kept in the telephone box close to the Wissett Road junction in Chediston. So it could be part of your daily exercise regime to drop off donated goods!
Or if you give us a call on 01986 875342, we could arrange collection when we walk the dogs.
The box will be collected by the Foodbank volunteers as required.
Hopefully we can make a useful contribution to the work of the Halesworth Foodbank and help those less fortunate than ourselves.
