Water leak in Chediston at junction with the B1123 early this morning. Water Board on site and preparing to repair.

Message from Essex & Suffolk regarding the disruption to your supply. This is now estimated to be off until 18.00 hrs today due to complications with repair. We are sorry for the inconvenience thank you for your patience.
Latest Update at 6.25pm. Just phoned Essex & Suffolk Water. Water wont be on until 9pm (they hope!!). Asked why this isn't listed on their website with updates and why not previously informed the 6pm deadline missed and if they are going to come around offering residents water bottles. They have no idea, no sense. Hopeless!
9.15pm. Water now back on in Chediston Green.
